The AKO rented The Social Network this week, and we watched it last night-- afterward, she asked jokingly, "Did the movie make you want to sign up for Facebook?" The Dude laughed, and simply reiterated his opinion of that site and its founder/CEO... they were not favorable.
100 Quatloos for the character who spoke the line and the movie title. 100 additional Quatloos for the name of the actor who the director wanted for the lead, but didn't get. Remember: no looking it up (i.e. cheating)!

Oh, I know this one, kind of! It's from The Graduate... but it's not Dustin Hoffman's character who says it... Is it _Mr._ Robinson? Maybe?

Mr Robinson seems a good guess :) Unless it was one of the neighbors at the pool party.
Warren Beatty was wanted for the lead
No quatloos for this week! The correct answer was Mr. McGuire in The Graduate. The Bonus question answer that I was looking for was Robert Redford--- there were other actors considered, including Warren Beatty, but Redford was considered "first choice".
